We teamed up with recording artist Famous Richard to bring his track Lost Soul to life through a high-impact music video. Shot entirely on location at Letchworth Village, an abandoned insane asylum in New York, the goal was to create a visual narrative that reflected the emotional depth of the song — dark, introspective, and raw.

Challenges & Approach

Filming at a single, haunting location like Letchworth meant we had to get creative with our shot composition, lighting, and pacing to keep the visual story compelling from start to finish. The eerie atmosphere of the asylum provided a natural backdrop for tscrhe track’s themes of isolation, struggle, and inner demons. Our approach was to lean into the grittiness of the environment, using handheld motion, natural light contrasts, and intentional pacing to amplify the mood.

The Result

The final video is a gritty, cinematic piece that captures the raw emotion behind Lost Soul. Every shot feels intentional — from the decayed hallways and broken windows to the intense close-ups that pull the viewer into Famous Richard’s mindset. The video not only elevated the track but also added a new layer of storytelling, helping the artist connect more deeply with his audience. The project serves as a great example of how one powerful location, paired with a strong visual approach, can create something unforgettable.
